The Barefoot community is very welcoming, understanding and fun. We were all beginners once! Just leave your worries at the door (with your shoes and cell phone) and let our experienced instructors guide you on an hour-long session of awesome suggestions!

Fresh Start

Start your day the Barefoot way! Wake up and dive into this refreshing invigorating, interactive class. Beginners will learn yoga language and be given the opportunity to explore each pose to its fullest in preparation for different level classes, while the more advanced yogi can enjoy holding poses for a little longer than usual to maximize their strength and flexibility. All levels.

Basic Hatha 

An exploration of the poses for the beginner or advanced yogi as you flow gently into the poses attaching movement to breath, taking time to strengthen, hold, balance, and transition safely. Expect to smile, laugh and thoroughly enjoy yourself. All levels.

Belly and Buns 

This class uses traditional yoga poses and flows to target the areas of our bodies that we struggle with the most- Belly and Buns. 6-pack abs and a great Yoga-Butt is what you have to gain… so what do you have to lose? High intensity! Bring your towel and water and get ready to smile, sweat and have a great time!

Gentle Yoga 

This class whispers relaxation. Perfect for the beginning yogi and highly beneficial for the advanced. Explore the softer side of yoga. Indulge yourself in stretching, soft movement and breathing, and be inspired to drop in, relax, let go, and become fully present. All levels.

Heated Stretch 

The room is a cozy 80 degrees. Find your space on the floor and let the heat seep in, melting away strain and stress as you sink deeper into your stretch. Relax and enjoy. All levels.

Meditation 

Meditation if one of the best tools we have to balance our emotions, deal with physical and psychological distress, and promote peace of the present moment. Relieve stress, increase happiness and develop compassion, love and patience as you delve deeper into the science of yoga meditation. Classes may vary in style allowing yogis to acquire a wide variety of tools to establish a meditation practice. With the teacher as your guide explore various methods of mediation. Group meditation makes it easier, giving encouraging you to continue your own meditation practice at home. All levels.

Mellow Flow 

Mellow Flow is a beautiful blend of poses that helps strengthen and tone the body and soothe the mind. Wake up the body with stretching, and then move into a slow smooth flow with a strong emphasis on connecting the breath to every movement. Perfect for most levels

Power Flow 

Build your internal fire, feel external heat as sweat drips onto your mat. An invigorating flow class that will have you moving and breathing through your postures. Take on new challenges with invitation to experiment with rapid movement through your flows and practice more advanced arm balances, inversions, twists, and backbends. Explore your edge as you build your strength. Modifications are offered. Bring your towel, water, and sense of adventure!

Yin Yoga 

Long, delicious holds of passive poses to get to the connective tissue and deep into the joints for an amazing yoga experience. Yin yoga is a quiet practice suitable for students of all levels. Through longer held postures targeting the connective tissue of the low back, hips and hamstrings, Yin Yoga invites you to slow down and create space for stillness while nourishing joints, ligaments, tendons and fascia. Poses are seated, supine or prone and are held with muscles relaxed for several minutes. Focus on your breath, being present in the moment, relieving tension and letting go. The Yin practice gives powerful mental and emotional benefits as practitioners becomes quiet, still and mindful of the present. Give yourself this opportunity to surrender, slow down and come back to balance. A perfect complement for your more challenging practices.

Restorative Yoga 

This practice is designed to restore the nervous system and help release deeply held tensions from the body and mind. A sequence of supported poses by the use of props held for several minutes allow for passive stretching, better posture, a calmer nervous system and a quieter mind. This class is appropriate for students of all levels.

Yoga Nidra 

A refresher in the middle of the day. Conscious deep relaxation awaits you as you enter the studio and melt into your mat, dropping into yoga sleep. All burdens melt away as you attain a blissful state of awareness much more rejuvenating than ordinary sleep. A powerful healing practice for body, mind, and consciousness, Yoga Nidra helps restore the proper flow of energy throughout the body and mind, allowing the systems of the body to function properly. During class, you’ll lay comfortably on your back while the instructor leads you into a state of deep relaxation. All you need to do is follow the instructor’s voice helping you consciously relax each part of your body. The practice will end with a Restorative pose, using bolsters, blankets, and blocks for optimum comfort. All levels.

Introductory Pass- One Month Unlimited:  $35 (Must purchase day of  first class)

Drop-in Rate:  $12 per class

5 Class Pass:  $50 (Good for 6 months from purchase)

10 Class Pass:  $90 (Good for 6 months from purchase)

1 Month Unlimited:  $80

6 Month Membership:  $69 month (6 month contract with auto-withdrawal. Unlimited yoga & 20% off on most workshops and purchases)

Private Lessons:  $40 Hour

Mat Rental:  $1 (Cash Only)

Yoga Etiquette & Tips

Drop-ins are always welcome. To attend any of the weekly classes, just show up 10-15 minutes early to meet the teacher and to fill out a registration form.

Clothes and yoga mats

You will want to wear comfortable clothing that isn’t too baggy and doesn’t restrict movement. A t-shirt or tank-top with sweats, shorts, or stretch-pants work well. Yoga is practiced with bare feet, so prepare to remove your shoes and socks when you arrive. Yoga mats are free to use during your first class. After that, students are asked to bring their own mat to class.

Class attendance etiquette

  • Please arrive 15 minutes before class begins. Late arrivals are not permitted into class.
  • Please turn cell phones off, no phone use in studio is permitted.
  • Be mindful of personal hygiene.
  • Please refrain from wearing perfume or cologne.
  • Putting on lotion right before class will cause you to slip.
  • Wear clothes to move in.
  • Bring a yoga mat and towel if you have one (rentals are available).

Some Helpful Tips:

  • Absolutely no experience is necessary.
  • No matter your weight of fitness level, you CAN practice yoga and Yoga WILL help you reach your goals.
  • Don’t worry about not knowing poses or stumbling. We all started as beginners. Our instructors are here to help and offer suggestions for modifications that work for you.

The most important thing to remember is that you are coming to feel good. If you leave the class feeling better than when you walked in the door, something amazing just happened.
